Independent Signatories of
The Manifesto for Agile Software Development

We are uncovering better ways of developing software by doing it and helping others do it. Through this work we have come to value:
  • Individuals and interactions over processes and tools
  • Working software over comprehensive documentation
  • Customer collaboration over contract negotiation
  • Responding to change over following a plan

That is, while there is value in the items on the right, we value the items on the left more.

Carsten Kettner: As a web developer from the early beginnings of the web I know of the process of ongoing learning new principles and techniques when coding good applications. Go for better code!
Costas Economopoulos: (BEL Computer Systems)
Luiz Carlos Vicente Martins.
Jed E Bergelson.
Andreas Buzzi: Simple to read and understand, but a challenge to put in practice - particular in large organisations.
Kume Akpubi.
Alveen Singh: (Durban University of Technology)
Charles An: (SafeNet Inc.) Agile is a effective way for software development. It is helping our team to deliver the software in a good pace.
Jessica Soroky.
Marian Tocu: (Insidesoftware)
Thales Eduardo Barros de Oliveira.
Samuel A. Rebelsky: (Grinnell College) I teach my students Agile because I consider it the appropriate approach of both the present and the future.

Orestis: (http://www.salingers.eu) Thanks folks, by pointing out what is important you cleared the way for better software developement and much more.
Iain Hughes: (http://uk.linkedin.com/pub/iain-hughes/2/251/a31) It has been the future for some time and has some very clear principles that if followed, bring about much better results, more quickly.
Dennis Frey: Have engaged in AGILE software development for over 10+ years. Small teams of talented and AGILE individuals can accomplish far more stodgy, corporatist monoliths that still perform their development in a waterfall approach.
Mahan Molkara: (Iranian Embedded Systems)
David Wu: (Craftable LLC) Agile definitely works. It because of the emphasis on individuals it produces highly cohesive teams, working software makes clients happy, customer collaboration means there are no unexpected surprises for clients and change being built into Agile makes it flexible to respond to modern challenges.
Prashanth Prasannathirtha.
Laurence Tuck: (Innate) People have long been at the centre of any constructive development. The sharing of the individual is what creates the strength of society - which is the purpose of everything we do - to make the world a better place. We all somehow share a mechanism for success or harmony. Software should follow the same laws.
Michael Brausam.
Russell Fletcher: I have seen the Agile approach work in technology (as a CIO), in business (as a senior executive), and in private life (as a husband and father). These are timeless principles, and should be a bedrock for action in nearly every venue.
William Payne: (wtpayne) My support is motivated primarily by the last item in the manifesto:- "Responding to change", and the fact that it presupposes a humble approach to the future; we cannot predict what will happen, and we cannot force the future to obey our absolute will; but we can change ourselves, adapt to events as they happen, and seek to influence the future rather than control it.
Nancy Joseph.
Christian Eggenberger: (afca ag)
Rachel Landowski: (Collaborative Consulting)
Jacqueline Alexander.
Callum Kerr: (Clov3r Leaf) Well thought out, a guide to developing I work towards.
David Zimmer: (The Canadian Pharmacy)
Saikiran Madhavan.
Frank Lio: (Instron ITW)
Patrick Dickhaut: (Deutsche Telekom AG)
Andreas Mönikes.
Jean Huang: (IBM) While Agile came into my sight, as a project manager, I had devoted myself to practice it. I am going to do it trustfully.
Danie Jordaan.
Claudia S. Lorenz: (LORENZ CONSULT)
Andrea Milloch.
Warren Iwamoto: (Excentus)
Krishna Kumar: (GS Lab)
Johnny Hermann: I have been following and practicing "agile" since the mid-90s, and in earnest from the XP days - first as a software engineer, now as a lean-agile technical manager. I contend that evolutionary pressure will eventually force all organizations to go Agile in order to adapt and survive, and not just because they are all becoming software companies. Contemporary Agile really is the best way for accessing complex adaptive systems - a way based on science, even physics itself.
Rohit Kumar.
Mallikarjuna Setra: (iGate Global Solutions Ltd)
Chris Ruwoldt: (Transport for NSW) I am a firm believer in the manifesto. Now all I have to do is to practice it!
Cassiano Surek: (http://www.surek.co.uk) I have used agile in more than one project and truly enjoy its approach of responding to changes, fomenting internal communication and collaboration with clients.
Aki Koskinen: (Second Lion)
Robert Duckers: (Espresso Deco) With such an emphasis on communication and team work, this is a very sensible, straightforward way to work that can only guarantee positive results.
Vara: (Logica) As a Technical Manager, while I practice and reaping its benefits, I try to baptize Agile for the new.
Deepak Khandelwal: (Bank of America Merrill Lynch)
