Independent Signatories of
The Manifesto for Agile Software Development

We are uncovering better ways of developing software by doing it and helping others do it. Through this work we have come to value:
  • Individuals and interactions over processes and tools
  • Working software over comprehensive documentation
  • Customer collaboration over contract negotiation
  • Responding to change over following a plan

That is, while there is value in the items on the right, we value the items on the left more.

Breaking free from the waterfall structure has been one of the best decisions I've ever made. The ability to deliver quality work to customers while allowing them to change their minds on what they want is something unheard of in the corporate world, at least in a timely manner. Folks are amazed at the amount of work I am able to get done from implementing the agile process. I don't know how people function without it.

Agile is not a process alone, it is mind-set of how we approach problems in our life both personally, professionally or how we develop software

Matvey Kazakov: While traditional approaches led by professionals can produce good product, agile approach can lead to the best and unique product. Agile is perfect approach when you have real users and you want to solve their problems by means of software. Agile approach minimises stress during development and deployment and leads to flexibility, maintainability, and high quality. It forces teams to be always in good shape in terms of code, infrastructure, communications etc. Agile approach is much more natural nowadays than other approaches when circumstances and conditions are continuously changing.
