Independent Signatories of
The Manifesto for Agile Software Development

We are uncovering better ways of developing software by doing it and helping others do it. Through this work we have come to value:
  • Individuals and interactions over processes and tools
  • Working software over comprehensive documentation
  • Customer collaboration over contract negotiation
  • Responding to change over following a plan

That is, while there is value in the items on the right, we value the items on the left more.

Petter Mattsson: (CGI, Sweden) To me this is LOGIC! How can it not be? The most important values you add to your organization by following these guidelines are motivation and inspiration. By having a motivated and inspired team all other stuff that matters to deliver successful projects comes along. The ball and chain are replaced by freedom of creativity and reliable release decisions. The illogical processes are replaced by logical work. We know WHEN we deliver our code and the code is by then actually WORKING. I thank this approach for making me extremely motivated and inspired! /Petter
