Independent Signatories of
The Manifesto for Agile Software Development

We are uncovering better ways of developing software by doing it and helping others do it. Through this work we have come to value:
  • Individuals and interactions over processes and tools
  • Working software over comprehensive documentation
  • Customer collaboration over contract negotiation
  • Responding to change over following a plan

That is, while there is value in the items on the right, we value the items on the left more.

Ryan McCann: I should have signed this long ago. As agile software development has expanded it's reach the past 10+ years, I believe people have failed to remember the tenants of the manifesto and it's 12 principles. It's high time we get back to basics and remind ourselves of what's truly important.
Guido Veuger: All I can explain about the way I work, it always comes to my mind: I'm agile
Jarrod Price: (CDK Global) Agile is the only way things should be done. I am not an extremist however I feel that this should be an enforced lifestyle for anyone in IT.

Arul Kumar C: (Software Developer) This is better way of developing software, a flexible method, that keeps first the reason for which we work as a team, to deliver the working software. This is equivalent of how we live our life, having long term goal with flexibility based on day-to-day happening. At the end we would have lived a fulfilled life. This is how we grow children, flexible based on the change in interest of the child as it grows. At the end, we have a fully grown mature individual.

Amit Maheshwari: It has been more than 7 years since I 'discovered' and started practicing and coaching Agile and Scrum in particular. In that time, I have consistently seen and been involved in successful projects delivered around Agile values. Likewise, I have experienced less successful ones where the 'trust' was built on elaborate contracts, the delivery based on processes and tools, and the progress directed and measured through rigid plans. It is my firm belief that Agile Manifesto articulates a better way to deliver projects.

Donna Young: The Agile Manifesto represents a turning point in software innovation. Dynamic teams, working together, making changes as needed with as little overhead as possible, it just makes sense. Our field is both scientific and creative. By understanding and placing high value on the contributions and thoughts of team members, we will continue to move forward making immeasurably valuable contributions to society.
