Independent Signatories of
The Manifesto for Agile Software Development

We are uncovering better ways of developing software by doing it and helping others do it. Through this work we have come to value:
  • Individuals and interactions over processes and tools
  • Working software over comprehensive documentation
  • Customer collaboration over contract negotiation
  • Responding to change over following a plan

That is, while there is value in the items on the right, we value the items on the left more.

Sethuraman Venkatraman: (Argusoft ) The Agile Manifesto is a lighthouse in a world of unknown shores. Unlike a Sailor of yore, who hoped against hope and yearns to kiss the shores, the practitioners of true agile will see and sail towards the light and make continuous progress with the assurance that, as a team, the land will be reached and the goals achieved. I fully endorse the Agile Manifesto in letter and spirit.

The most important factor to success is to ensure the entire organisation develops an agile mindset and this is implicit in the first part of the manifesto.
