Independent Signatories of
The Manifesto for Agile Software Development

We are uncovering better ways of developing software by doing it and helping others do it. Through this work we have come to value:
  • Individuals and interactions over processes and tools
  • Working software over comprehensive documentation
  • Customer collaboration over contract negotiation
  • Responding to change over following a plan

That is, while there is value in the items on the right, we value the items on the left more.

Frank Mölder: (Wesaidso Software Engineering) In the past decade I've have tried many ways to deliver projects in a successfull way. The most successfull projects were all based on the manifesto. These were also the projects where the team was really focused and having fun! Thanks!
Felix Iturbe: (B-kin) It's been a long journey to arrive to the same ideas covered by the manifesto. Thanks for the synthesis, and let's hope others can use this shortcut!

Benjamin Chodroff: (IBM) While process, tools, documentation, plans, and contracts will never be done away with, I will always agree that getting the job done is priority number one.

Mark Hediger: (Actionize AG) Actionize has been developed using Scrum. The beauty of Scrum lies in it's simplicity and common sense. It is a highly effective method to manage complex software development projects where requirements change while the product emerges.

Gabriel Valladolid: (iofractal) Agile means working together to get working products instead of full project plans, always be ready to solve changes without deep impacts over costs, scopes, or funcionality. However my experience shows newbies in IT need supervision since this method give people opportunity to try new ideas without a plan, so risk planning is necessary. Best of breed is to have deep knowledge over different approaches to win always.
Alexander Fürstenau: At the beginning of my career I thought I have to specify every single detail of a system/program and the reason why not one single project could be finished on time/budget was that I did spend to little on specifying at the beginning. I was so wrong!
John Eikenberry: (http://www.eikenberry.com)
Agatha Okafor: (Testit Consulting) When one talks about Best practice in organisations, Agile methodology/principles take the lead. Embedded in it are the principles of motivation and staff empowerment and above all communication, teamwork and symbiotic relationship with stakeholders. Unity is strength and experience is the best teacher. What more can we ask for??. In view of this I hereby sincerely endorse my signature for the Agile Software Development manifesto!!!
