We are uncovering better ways of developing software by doing it and helping others do it. Through this work we have come to value:

Individuals and interactions over processes and tools
Working software over comprehensive documentation
Customer collaboration over contract negotiation
Responding to change over following a plan

That is, while there is value in the items on the right, we value the items on the left more.

bob g. remo: (PowerApps Corporation) I fully subscribe to the Agile Manifesto as the most realistic, most practical and most effective way to satisfy customer needs. Systems as well as the development processes are dynamic entities that will not benefit from bureaucratic rigidity. I believed in the Agile principles long before there was a formal name for them (and got a load of criticisms from the Waterfall guys) and so I get this amazing feeling of being vindicated.

I've always been a bit of a SDM connoisseur throughout my 23 years in this industry, but Agile WORKS! It's the best I've ever used.
