Independent Signatories of
The Manifesto for Agile Software Development

We are uncovering better ways of developing software by doing it and helping others do it. Through this work we have come to value:
  • Individuals and interactions over processes and tools
  • Working software over comprehensive documentation
  • Customer collaboration over contract negotiation
  • Responding to change over following a plan

That is, while there is value in the items on the right, we value the items on the left more.

Richard: (Gatethorn) I'm one of those Agile 'Mentors', someone who specializes in helping IT project teams evaluate, customize and adopt the latest Agile software development methodologies. It's always a pleasure to see the surprise and delight of technical Developers and their Business Sponsors, when they experience Agile's ability to quickly and efficiently deliver what's needed for Business success. Anyone can do Agile; I'm only there to give reassurance that it really is that simple!
Nikolay Tzonev: (inixweb Ltd.) Go Agile!
Norberto Verino: (Orion Desarrollos)
Jo-Sharon Udoh: The Agile Manifesto is about getting out from behind our computers and instead meeting face to face with our customers and peers. It is there that we are reminded of the ultimate goal of writing software, which is to help people. Agile development is important for practical results; not ideological beliefs. Of all of the values for survival - Responding to Change is the most important. Any software development that does not have an eye to change will ultimately fail because change is not a variable; it is a constant.

Jens Dykow: The Manifesto shows an understanding of human nature that no-one had the courage to express in this way before. Men are neither machines nor omnicogniscent, and accepting this and finding ways to embrace this is the key to success.
Ricardo Schroeder.
Steve Christakis: (Evolved Corporate Concepts, Inc.) As a former developer and now a PM/BA, the simplicity of this approach makes for a very realistic development environment. Customer delivery is paramount, others may keep their strict processes and procedures, but the bottom line is give the clients what they want, and need in a timely fashion and be in a position to turn on a dime to welcome change.
Prasenjit Singh Bist: (Capgemini Consulting) For me its the best way to interact with and support a client in complex SAP implementation projects. The client always have a small but working software module at regular periods and those mile stones are pretty amazing and more satisfying to a enduser.
Bea Stephan: Developing solutions with common sense, with your feet on the ground. Make people and processes between them work. That's how I like to work by heart. With a lot of contacts with people involved, with just as little 'meetings' as necessary. But a lot of communication going on and on!
Jan-Sake Kruis: (Ordina) I fully support the Agile manifesto! I believe that the different mindset can make the world a better place. Not only software development, but all people in all kinds of profit and non-profit organisations can benefit from the refreshing underlying principles.
D A Vincent.
Daniel Hardman: (Codecraft) Living, evolving codebases with smart and cooperative people work so much better than rigid requirements!
AMIT AGARWAL: Its time Agile Manifesto becomes the backbone of an adaptive software-IT society
Craig Hicks: (The Grackle Group)
Olga Repnikova: every day & every single project.
Christian Funck.
Ezeosa E Dafikpaku: (Business Analyst, MBA CLSSBB PRINCE2P ) The principles underlying the Agile Software Development uncovers a sense of the value in recognizing the human element behind every organisation, process, tool, and product. It clearly aligns with best practices in customer focus and involvement, employee engagement, product focus, organisational response to change, while not being prescriptive. This approach to software development works well with the PRINCE2 approach to project management when well tailored, and stakeholder management. I highly recommend these principles to be embedded into the approach taken for any SDLC.
Bernd Klumpp: I believe in the Agile Manifesto and I am convinced that we could transform oranization and culture by adopting agile methods and by encouraging agile mindset to thrive in the 21st century.
Rahul Prakash: Agile := Scrum + XP + noise.

Ruben Ghazaryan: (Orange Armenia) That's great!
Hariharan Narayanan: (CSC) Values that have shaped my life have a few things in common - they were relatable, they empowered me and others, and they made immense sense. The values in this manifesto are undoubtedly shaping my life and not just my work.
