Independent Signatories of
The Manifesto for Agile Software Development

We are uncovering better ways of developing software by doing it and helping others do it. Through this work we have come to value:
  • Individuals and interactions over processes and tools
  • Working software over comprehensive documentation
  • Customer collaboration over contract negotiation
  • Responding to change over following a plan

That is, while there is value in the items on the right, we value the items on the left more.

Daryl Lawrence: (DDM Venture, LLC) As the CIO of a small company I was given the opportunity to lead the transition to Agile. The results of the change were so astounding I became a true believer in the Agile Manifesto and the principles behind Agile. The company sold in 2008 and I've been helping companies transition to Agile ever since. DDM Venture was started specifically as a consulting firm to help companies embrace the change Agile brings.

Avish Saha: I believe in the law of Karma and Karma Yoga as way of life. And I must say the Agile Manifesto is pretty close in intention though it is for software projects, however same principles can readily be applied in our lives. If we start to value our interactions with individuals around us - family, friends, colleagues and even our customers as all are human beings, and strive towards working together in collaboration by helping each other in any adversaries, problems or situations in life (since nothing is constant and things keep changing) then we may very well achieve the true meaning of life. Thanks for thinking of something as profound and workable as Agile. Respectfully, Avish.
Lukáš Janeček.
Jobin Mathew: Our organization adopted agile software development (Scrum) in early 2014 from waterfall. We have seen significant improvements in project successes, team morale and business value derived. I personally cannot think of going back to a non-iterative method of doing work. Thank you very much for your thought leadership.
