Independent Signatories of
The Manifesto for Agile Software Development

We are uncovering better ways of developing software by doing it and helping others do it. Through this work we have come to value:
  • Individuals and interactions over processes and tools
  • Working software over comprehensive documentation
  • Customer collaboration over contract negotiation
  • Responding to change over following a plan

That is, while there is value in the items on the right, we value the items on the left more.

Sky Boydston: Due to the fact that software development serves businesses, organizations, and populations, it's intuitive that the principles that typically lead to positive outcomes for those entities will also be valuable guiding principles in their technological endeavors. It has been my experience that the principles espoused by the left side of the Manifesto have been more valuable than the principles of the right side in software development, other technical undertakings, business, social action, and other arenas and I therefore support it as the superior software development approach currently available.
Andreas Klenk: (BMW CarIT) Agile SW development is a great tool to realize complex innovative functionality in small incremental steps. The product profits from the know-how and ideas of each team member to achieve optimal results. (12/2015)

Francesco Macri: The Agile Manifesto outlines the real focus of software development: people. Its principles have been, are and will be the guideline for developing better software that actually brings value to users and developers. Adapting software to an ever changing reality isn't simple, but becoming Agile is the first step towards delivering software that keeps being useful by evolving with user needs, rather than dictating them. For these reasons I endorse the Agile Manifesto, advocate, and apply its principles every day when developing software, and support others in doing so.
Timon Fiddike: (Market Valid GmbH & Co KG) I fully endorse the agile manifesto. As a trainer for developing software using my favorite framework (Symfony) I have seen more than 30 different companies develop software. The very few who embrace agile priciples are much more successful than all the others and their teams very much enjoy their work. This is why I decided to work as an agile coach and it's of the best decisions I've ever made.
Kevin Baxter: (RBS) I recognise Agile as the most effective method of delivering working software to customers. I endorse the Agile Manifesto, and will work to embed the principles in my team.
