Independent Signatories of
The Manifesto for Agile Software Development

We are uncovering better ways of developing software by doing it and helping others do it. Through this work we have come to value:
  • Individuals and interactions over processes and tools
  • Working software over comprehensive documentation
  • Customer collaboration over contract negotiation
  • Responding to change over following a plan

That is, while there is value in the items on the right, we value the items on the left more.

We believe in empowering individual developers in their quest to create software efficiently and with the utmost flexibility. While people are primary in an Agile approach, tools are very useful in enabling refactoring and the detection and elimination of duplicate code.
Jose Emilio Gonzalez: (Scrumming.org) El manifiesto ágil resume claramente el camino a seguir para desarrollar software util y de alta calidad. Debemos darlo a conocer a la mayor cantidad posible de personas. -- The agile manifesto clearly outlines the way forward to develop useful and high quality software. We must make it known to as many people as possible.
Saurabh Bhatia.
Jeff Hall: (Digital Maelstrom LLC) When I founded Digital Maelstrom, I held the values of the Agile Manifesto close in mind. We have worked hard to build a technology company which reaffirms these values within our work, the work of our partners, and anyone we may collaborate with in the future. We do this to benefit our customers, ourselves, and the state-of-the-art as a whole. Digital Maelstrom supports the Agile Manifesto!
Venelin Valkov.
Walter Uys: (TACIT Consulting) The Agile Manifesto represents a way of delivering software that is often given lip service in organisations wanting to be up to date, but requiring a fundamental change in approach that on the surface appears to be in contradiction with traditional methodologies. Agile Software Development is not easy, not because of the manifesto, but because of the prejudices and expectations of commercial organisations.
