The Manifesto for Agile Software Development
We are uncovering better ways of developing
software by doing it and helping others do it.
Through this work we have come to value:
That is, while there is value in the items on the right, we value the items on the left more.
|Signatures Received: 23 May to 30 May 2010|
|Ricardo F Garcia: (Hewlett-Packard Co.) I value the principles of the Agile Manifesto and will strive to implement them in my current and future projects in order to provide the best value I can provide to my customers.|
Edson Lek Hong Ma: (SEA-Tecnologia) Agile Manifesto makes me remember one quotation that shows how we can evolve is to exchanging knowledge. “If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange these apples then you and I will still each have one apple. But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas.” [George Bernard Shaw]
Aby Varghese: (Advanced Millennium Technologies)
João Luiz de Barros Teixeira.
Francisco Souza: (Giran Soluções & Ensino)
Alfred Patterson III: (http://www.onveon.com)
Zach Ferres: (BounceFire) The agile manifesto is a great way to deliver quality products that deliver value to each and every one of our clients.
Gert Baudoncq: (http://twitter.com/gertbaudoncq) I discovered agile practices a couple of years ago while I was working in a waterfall type of project management. Since then I've been using agile techniques in different typs of projects and team and gathered a lot of experience and became a real agile adept. My main focus now lays in coaching teams and companies to become agile.
Jeuz Silva: Congratulations.
Thodi Andersson: (MacAppWise Pty Ltd)
Evgeniy Dolzhenko: (http://dolzhenko.org)
Ergun Korel: (artun) my manifesto is "the way of mind is one.". and Agile is one of them.
Sibusiso Mbingo: (FNB - Shared Services South Africa) The power of Agile development collaborates the integration of different stakeholders i.e. Business Owners, Development Team (Analysis, Development, Testing) to work together for the same objectives and with one mind of producing a quality software that will benefit the entire organisation.
Lal Chandran: (Ericsson) -
Rich Baker: (Solers, Inc.)
|Jeffrey Allen Randorf: As an Department of Defense engineer with long involvement in software acquisition, I can personally endorse this manifesto. So many of the problems I have experienced from the "right" could have been positively addressed with the application of the principles from the "left". I will devote the balance of my career in the application of this manifesto.|
Andrei Contan: At first I thought it's just another 'fashionable' process which will fade along the time, now I trust Agile as being the best approach to success
Vivek Khokhar: (http://www.khokhar.info) Agile has come as a natural fit to the way I think about non-software aspects of life. It makes so much sense to build software following this approach. It has a really nice side affect of improving its followers. So, if you wish to improve, become Agile.
Derek Widmayer: Agile is a smart collaborative approach to development that helps ensure quality software faster.
Gracias!
Gurpreet Singh: (http:///www.infohuge.net) Agile is an Awesome Process management Strategy
Srinath Chandrasekharan: (HCL Technologies) I see that Agile is proving better as a methodology in today's business scenario. I find it interesting and challening and have been contributing to its growth (in my organization) in my own small way.
Robert Rodes: As far as I'm concerned, this is simply the way that humans create. The idea and direction of any creative effort is refined along the way through evaluating the results at hand. The Agile methodology simply acknowledges this reality and implements it procedurally.
Asad. Gharighi: (SKI)
Shaik Khaleshah: I agree with the principes of the Agile Manifesto. A better way to manage projects with changes.
Christophe Lucas: (http://www.linkedin.com/pub/christophe-lucas/1/576/817) After successfully adopting the Agile principles for over 5 years, I am a firm believer in the Manifesto!
|PETER KAPUR: (Credit-Suisse) I am fully supportive of the manifesto. The previous decade of Process & Tools have made software development predicatable but business has evolved while organizations have not transformed themselves to respond to rapid business changes.
I am a Senior Transformation Manager in Financial Services and have run large organization and I practice what I preach. Organizations must transform their people culture and process culture to be pragmatic. It is not one over the other but ensuring that any process or Tool implemented helps in developing business solutions versus Bureaucracy and must be visited and challenged constructively. People are less motivated when you use process and tools to stifle creativity.|
Aster Tale: (HW) I like this. It's cool!
Javier Tia: (The Linux Foundation)
Viscus Infotech: (Web 2.0 Design) Agility is what drives one’s success. These principles are not proposed Silver Bullets but a pragmatic and functional set of practices that will completely metamorphose your organization into a successful one. Great work. All the best :)
Peter Gfader: (http://blog.gfader.com/) Full support the manifesto as a Scrum aficionado!
Mehran Forouhar: (Dundee City Council) I Support the Agile Manifesto
Antonio Calabrese: (12print.it)
Adnan Smajlovic: (Clarkson Software Inc.)
Cahit Bagdelen: Promising principles, which may dramatically increase productivity and quality, provided that the individuals colaborate with a team sprit.
George Eapen: (http://eapen.in) Agile before Agile was coined
Mahesh Sivarama Pillai.
Joe Gartrell: (Joe Gartrell, Inc.)
Aleksandrs Zaharovs: IT analyst
Alan Franzoni: (http://www.franzoni.eu)
Jonathan Kaufman: (n/a) This has served me well so far. Just used the 'individuals and interactions' today to help people understand we could drop a poor backlog tool. Love it.
