The Manifesto for Agile Software Development

We are uncovering better ways of developing software by doing it and helping others do it. Through this work we have come to value:
  • Individuals and interactions over processes and tools
  • Working software over comprehensive documentation
  • Customer collaboration over contract negotiation
  • Responding to change over following a plan

That is, while there is value in the items on the right, we value the items on the left more.

Fabián Fallas Moya: (UCR) What to use? Agile or nor? ... it all depends on the project needs, or maybe we could have something with the two flavors. But the majority of the cases Agile is gonna win!
Simon Martin: (http://www.sjmdev.com) Agile puts a human face on developing software, it is 'almost' common sense to work this way. An automaton could embrace the items on the right as *the way* but a person is needed to value the items on the left.
Fabiano Moura: A qualidade e produtividade podem caminhar juntas no desenvolvimento de software.
Byungho Lee: I believe sharing of core values can bring change not process or plans. Thus I support the Agile Manifesto!
Alexandre Aquiles Sipriano da Silva.
Andrew Webster: I've worked on around 60 projects. Of those, six used an agile approach. Those six were successes - the customers where delighted with the outcome. The others were failures - late, over budget, did not do what was required, or simply gave up. Agile works.
Aaron Kelly: (Bevill Edge Consulting)
Dikshit Rajkhowa: (Cognizione Consulting and Solutions Pvt.Ltd)
Jose Antonio Villanueva Roman: (PERU) Agilicemos el desarrollo del software, no lo burocraticemos.
André Luis Pereira dos Santos: (BSRSoft LTDA)
Vishal Deshmukh: I whole heartedly support the Agile manifesto. I firmly believe that this will change the future course of software development and maintenance.
olawale ogunwale: The manifesto puts words to what I believe as a software engineer and team leader.
Edgardo Collazos Garcia, PMP.
James J. Finn: (Finn Consulting LLC) From tiny to huge, simple to complex, physical product to software product, predictable to chaotic, and immediate to infinite duration - an Agile approach provides a reasonable path to a solution. However both the path and the eventual solution are not clear until the project is "fully operational". Jim Finn
Lee Cunningham.
Stéphane Guy.
Tom Rossen: (http://floorsweepings.blogspot.com) Currently in an environment that's a complicated hybrid of cowboy and cmd&ctl - discovering all over again the primacy of communication and value to the customer over even the Agile (XP) practices I'm so comfortable with.
Bruno Cezar Rocha: (http://rochacbruno.com.br) The Agile Manifesto is the best way I see to got success with software development.
Luan Haddad Ricardo dos Santos: (C3SL)
Kevin Mills.
Meredith Mengel: (InDyne, Inc./NASA) Collaboration isn't something that can or should be limited to formal requirements interviews or post-mortem meetings. Continuous, real-time collaboration helps teams discover: opportunities in time to act on them; unspoken requirements in time to include them; and obstacles in time to avoid them.
Balakrishnan S.
Koll: (Cookers) I stumbled on this site while reading an online book at the Computer Society web site... I am glad I did.
Danny Philayvanh.
Anurag Thakrani: I am QA at one of the Indian Software company. I did my first Agile project few months back. What i like about Agile is its fast and more importantly reduce communication time and gap quite well as each and every member sits together at one place.
Edgar Gonzalez: "First do it, then do it right, then do it fast."
Hélder Gurgel : (helbian) Side by side with the client. :o)
Bruno Perillo: (attps Informática)
Debra Britton.
Leonid Sereda: As for my experience over 30 years, following the Principles behind the Agile Manifesto is the best way for software development.
Mario Rozalén: (Tanta Comunicación)
Paul Robinson: (32 Moves Ltd) I whole-heartedly endorse the principles of agile software development and the benefits it brings to our industry, our clients, and to the community we serve at large.
Robert Lantry: (Self) I wholy endorse and support the Agile Manifesto
Richard Fong.
Samuel Rundström: I've recently ended a study in projectmanagement and had my field research in a Swedish Project Consulting Company. This Company consults the Swedish state and different kind of institutions in their projects. Without knowing what the Agile manifesto was and without knowing what its offspring of different methods is they use the agile filosophies, I think, to their full extend. This without being in the programming and software systemdevelopment business. Remarkeable. Proves agile can be applied into so much more than its platform of origin .
Andrew Kazarinoff: (Qualytic Consulting)
Tom Wattle: (havaianas) Your 12 points are made briliantly and are the cornerstone to software development success.
Bonnie Lee Miley.
Flávio de Sousa Ramalho.
Mikael Olsson: (Create in Lund AB)
Ryan Connolly: Scrum is currently working well for my team!
Evan Machnic: (Broadmac)
Christopher Moore: (Chartwise Medical Systems, Inc.) We successfully used agile by way of scrum to help us create better software in less time.
Pawel Hnydka: (Symbiotic Leech)
Leonardo Brissant.
Raja Bavani: (MindTree) We strongly believe in Agile Manifesto and Agile Principles. We have seen Agile Practices providing better results across several projects.
Justin Wagle.
MAKOTO NAKAJIMA.
David Lowe: (http://corkhound.com/) Having used Scrum for a few years, I believe that it is currently the most appropriate framework for software development: I'm a fully paid up believer. The quesition as I see it is how this can be extended into all spheres of life...
