  • Working software over comprehensive documentation
  • Customer collaboration over contract negotiation
  • Responding to change over following a plan

That is, while there is value in the items on the right, we value the items on the left more.

Malcolm St. Romain: I began as a Malcolm Baldrige trained Operations Research / Industrial Engineering grad student in the early 90's. In 1995, began to developing web applications, and had no knowledge of the Waterfall SDLC. My partners and I were lucky, that our small company was not required to fit into any formal dev processes, we were simply focused on getting things "done", as soon as possible. Since then, I've continued to preach Demming principles of operations management and now I've found my home. Thank you for your commitment to this effort.
