Independent Signatories of
The Manifesto for Agile Software Development

We are uncovering better ways of developing software by doing it and helping others do it. Through this work we have come to value:
  • Individuals and interactions over processes and tools
  • Working software over comprehensive documentation
  • Customer collaboration over contract negotiation
  • Responding to change over following a plan

That is, while there is value in the items on the right, we value the items on the left more.

With the rapid change in global business process, organizational development, we will not able to afford waiting for years to see the real value on ground. Hence, there is definitely a need for Agility at every level. Agile Manifesto lays out those basic principle and practices which will help the planet to go through an accelerated journey.

Agile provides context for tailoring software strategies to meet the unique needs of the situation that your team finds itself in. It simply works better than other softwre development methodoligies.

Rodney Abdulkarim: (Propel Technology Services, Inc.) With great respect and admiration to the mountains of challenges that prior models have had to overcome, we have been fortunate to have Agile pave the way of the future. Since 2003, our Core Philosophy has been to eliminate the fear of custom software development and make it attainable to small and medium businesses. Our Agile-driven techniques have allowed us to deliver both immediate value and ongoing vehicles of growth to our clients as opposed to budget pitfalls and underutilized end products. As an organization, we stand by the Agile Manifesto and look forward to continuing The Journey. After all, the only constant, is change itself.
Jim Stover: The values and principles layed out in the manifesto are long lasting...and get to the heart, in a simplistic manner, of how software development should be approached.
Jerry Finegan: Having done waterfall for many years at three of the larger fortune 500 companies, I can testify that AGILE is a much more effective way to develop software.
Marcel Fuursted: (1hello.com IT Outsourcing)
Wolfgang Brandhuber: (http://https://www.xing.com/profiles/Wolfgang_Brandhuber)
Howard Haimovitch: (EAG Inc.) It makes so much sense. Instead of the customer eagle-eying us or us the customer, the customer becomes the consumer and we are the developers or creators and the real enemy is the timeline(to do it in time); enemy 2 is the scope(feature list completed) and enemy 3 is the budget (doing it within budget). agile gives all options and enhances the behaviour to have the developers and consumers as part of one team. It encourages the right behaviours to finish the project on time within budget and completed with the feature list. I do not know of any other methodology that can do this except Agile.
Torsten Gründl: Putting people before processes is something that will be very important in the future, as hierarchies will be become less and less important...
